Choosing AP courses is confusing.
Let me help.

I made this site because figuring out which APs to take shouldn't be this hard.

Here's the thing: The College Board tells you what's in each AP course, but not which ones you actually need for your path. This guide helps you figure that out.

Pick how you want to explore

You can browse by your intended major (if you know what you want to study in college) or by career (if you know what job you're aiming for). Either way works.

Majors IconBrowse by Major
If you know what you want to study in college (engineering, pre-med, business, computer science, etc.)
Careers IconBrowse by Career
If you have a specific job in mind (doctor, software engineer, teacher, lawyer, etc.)
Not sure yet?

That's completely normal. Most students change their major at least once. Pick something you're interested in and explore—you can always check out other paths later.

Why this exists

Hi, I am Ege. When I was choosing my AP courses, I felt lost. My counselor was helpful but overwhelmed. The College Board website had tons of information but didn't answer my main question: "Which APs do I need for what I want to do?"

So I mapped everything out based on College Board data and typical college requirements. It's not perfect, but it should point you in the right direction.

Pro Tip: Quality matters more than quantity. Taking 3-4 AP courses you care about and doing well is better than overloading yourself with 9 courses.
